The Launch Recap, Signings, and Goodbye Until September!

Well, spring has finally reached the Ottawa Valley. The next time I post will be in September, so lots of living to do between now and then.

A few things this week. I’ve got two bookstore signings on the horizon. In fact, I’ll be at Books on Beechwood today, Saturday, May 6 from 11:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. There will be copies of Blind Date and When Last Seen, so it will be great to see anyone who’d like a copy of either.

On Friday, May 12, I’ll be at Coles Carlingwood from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., again with copies of the new series.

I’m also lined up for a Kemptville Public Library interview with fellow crime fiction writer Mike Martin on Saturday, June 17 at 1:00 p.m. Pam Welling will be asking the questions.

Charlie Senack, the editor of Kitchissippi Times, interviewed me on Thursday. Watch for the article in the June issue!

Sent from my neighbour!

And without further ado, here are some photos from Sunday’s When Last Seen launch taken by my good friend Fred Taylor. My daughter Julia Weagle was emcee and Mayor Mark Sutcliffe presented me with a framed certificate from the City of Ottawa. The joint was hopping and thanks to everyone who came out to help celebrate. Thank you to Irene’s Pub (lots of great entertainment lined up all year long) and Jim Sherman, owner of Perfect Books, for all their support.

Happy, safe summer everyone!
