27 Apr Set to Launch
The Fatal Harvest book launch at Perfect Books is this coming Wednesday evening — for those who can make it, this is a most casual event, mainly a party. There will be wine and lots of time to mingle.
And if you cannot make it, I’ll be at Octopus Books on Thursday, May 9 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. alongside John Delacourt as part of the Authors Unbound series. I’m really looking forward to meeting John and buying his book. Coincidentally, Octopus Books is a few blocks from Percy Street and the home of my protagonist Ella Tate, which is also where I lived in my single days. Full circle?
And if you cannot make either of these events, I’ll be appearing at several other locations through May and June, including a newly added signing date at Books on Beechwood on Saturday, May 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I keep the public events list updated on the home page of my website.
I managed to write my minimum word count this week, closing in on 56,500 words. I’d planned to be a bit further along, but life has been busy. I spent a day going to bookstores to check in. You can now find Fatal Harvest along with the rest of the series at Perfect Books, Westboro Books, Books on Beechwood, Octopus Books, Coles Carlingwood and Coles Bayshore. The Ottawa Indie Bookstore Crawl is also on this weekend so lots of places to pick up copies!
