Keeping On

Keeping On

Quite the week on the tariff front, my friends. The craziness south of the border continues…

I’ve continued to edit my latest manuscript, the title of which is Nobody Tell. It’s book eight in the Stonechild series. I’m liking the plot and characters as I go through it a second time. The editing is a slow and tedious (in some ways) process but it’s exciting to see everything coming together. Luckily, I have almost two more months to tinker.

I might have mentioned that I was invited to submit a short story to a Dundurn anthology and sent in a story in December. The intake editor liked my story but thought I could beef up the ending. I spent yesterday working on it and still need to come up with a final sentence. It’s always fun to spend a day immersed in a story and let time slip away.

It was my turn to blog this past Monday on 7 Criminal Minds. The question concerned how the creative process works, and you can find my answer at this link.

Today, Ted and I are taking part in an annual fundraiser called Curling for a Cause. This year, the money raised will go toward helping women with cancer. As in past years, I will be raffling off a name in my next book. This has become a popular way to raise money for a great cause, and I look forward to finding out the name!

So another week spent at my keyboard pouring over text with the week ahead to be spent doing much the same again. As long as the weather stays as rainy/snowy and cold as it has been, I’m happy to be indoors working. Spring fever has not fully struck yet!

Have a good week, everyone.
