08 Nov And the Events Begin
Looks like winter is arriving by snowstorm tomorrow with some plummeting temperatures on Monday. We’ve had such a lovely long stretch of good weather that this is a huge change. Time to find the winter coat.
But today, you can come out to Kichesippi Brewery in Belles Corners for a beer and books. I’ll be driving out with fellow author Don Butler and we’ll be there between one and four p.m. this afternoon.

Next Saturday, November 15th, I’ll be signing at Coles Carlingwood from 1:00 to 3:00. They’ve sold out of my Hunter and Tate series but will be restocked on Monday when I’m also scheduled to drop by to film a TikTok ad for the signing.
So, on the writing front, I’ve had a productive week, hitting 35,000 words on the 5th Hunter and Tate manuscript (not yet given a title) and making some progress with the plot. I know where I’m heading but uncertain how I’m getting there! My Dundurn editor has not sent her changes for the Stonechild manuscript Nobody Tell, but so far she’s sent good feedback.
The recently released anthology A Capital Mystery is selling well and is into its third printing. They currently are running a contest where you can win one of three copies to be sent anywhere in the world. Here is the link to the entry form. You need to say which short story was your favourite and why.

I need to prepare for the signing ahead at the Kichesippi Brewery in a few hours. It would be great if you could drop by. If not, perhaps I’ll see you at Coles Carlingwood next Saturday for a signed copy. Christmas is only seven or eight weeks away and books always make for good gifts 🙂
