Until September…

Until September…

Good Saturday morning. It’s another chilly April day and my last post for this season. I’ll be back in September!

Blind Date received this lovely review in the Glebe Report, so a good entry in this final post. Here are a couple of quotes:

“Chapman has spent her COVID time well and come up with another winner. Blind Date will hook you from its early pages and reel you in, holding on until its final page.” and “Chapman is a solid writer. She includes enough description to give us a sense of place without making us want to skip whole paragraphs of colour commentary. Her character sketches detail portraits of people for whom we come to care.”

The Blind Date audiobook is nearly complete – all recorded and a final check underway. It will be available on all the audiobook sites next week (end of April)/beginning of May. A huge thank you to my talented narrator Heather Williams, evening host on CHEZ 106. More information will be posted on my Twitter, Facebook and Instagram feeds, so click follow and you won’t even miss me 🙂

I’m into the final chapters of my latest manuscript, second in the Hunter and Tate mystery series and will spend the summer months editing and pulling it together. My characters take on a challenging case so lots of suspense and sticky situations:-)

I’ll still be blogging every second Monday on 7 Criminal Minds blogspot throughout the summer. Here is my latest post from this past Monday.

For those living in Ottawa, you can also catch me at Chapters Gloucester on Saturday, June 11 between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. signing copies of the Stonechild and Rouleau series and Blind Date. I’m also taking part in the virtual Maple Leaf Mystery Conference, interviewing B.C. historical mystery writer Iona Whishaw on Friday, May 27 at 4:00 p.m. EDT. You can still sign up for a cost of $25.00 – there will also be panels and interviews with Ian Rankin, Rick Mofina, Vicki Delany and Maureen Jennings, so not to be missed!

Again, thank you to everyone who has sent messages or posted reviews on social media and Goodreads. I appreciate every note, click and comment, and honestly, all your support keeps me writing. I wish you a safe, happy summer and look forward to catching up first week in September.
