Signing Today at Coles Carlingwood!

Signing Today at Coles Carlingwood!

We’re half-way through September, and I’m sad to say goodbye to summer. However, I don’t know if I’d like to live in a place without the changing of the seasons. Just embrace the moment, I say!

So today (Saturday, Sept. 17th), I will be at Coles in the Carlingwood Mall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the store’s 25th anniversary celebrations. You’ll be able to purchase Blind Date and the Stonechild and Rouleau series. You can also just stop by to say hello!

On October 1at, I’ll be at the public library in Almonte for a talk about my books and a reading from Blind Date. It’s been a long time since I attended an in-person event so wish me luck 🙂 I’ll be taking part in a one-day mystery conference on December 3rd and you can register for the event, which features some terrific Ottawa authors and some mighty interesting panels. Register early for $15.00 and ensure your spot. For more info and to register, the email is MapleLeafMysteryConference@gmail.com

And last in my upcoming events, I’ve been invited to be the guest speaker at Capital Crime Writers Christmas dinner. Hopefully, we’ll be able to gather in person, but I have to be ready to speak over Zoom if Covid gathers steam.

As for my writing, this week was dedicated to editing When Last Seen, writing the acknowledgements and lining up some things.  I’ve gone through the manuscript and found some faux pas and written a bit more text (happens every time I go through it), and worked on the layout. I’m ready to get back writing on book three, which is sitting at about 5000 words. Writing, editing, publicity and engagements — it all adds up to a delicate balance. Stay tuned for the cover reveal, coming soon!

It’s looking like a lovely day out there and I’ll soon be heading over to Coles Carlingwood – I hope you can stop by if you’re out and about. This is the only signing I have lined up, so if you’d like a signed copy of any of my books, today is the day 🙂
