16 Mar One Month to Fatal Harvest Release
Good Saturday morning once again. Fatal Harvest will be released in a month on April 15 and preorders are open at both Amazon and Kobo. The launch is at Perfect Books on May 1st.
Last Sunday, I drove to meet a book club at the Bridge Public House in the Rideau Sports Centre. This was set up because Blues for Youth had auctioned off the book club author visit as part of their charity fundraiser. They raise money for youth mental health and suicide prevention. The book club members each brought a guest and we met for brunch in a private dining room. The setting was lovely and the food great – I’d like to return sometime for a meal with Ted. They asked questions about my book Blind Date, which I’d donated as part of the charity fundraiser, and were also interested in my writing routine and process. The charity has asked me to donate another book club visit and a couple of books again this year as part of an online auction – I’ll post the details once I know them!
It was another great writing week. I managed my 500-word daily limit and then some as I reached 36,500 words. I have a busy week ahead so will not set my sights as high over the next seven days, but hopefully will get some writing in. I hope you also have a great week!
