27 Nov New Cover Reveal Coming Soon!
Good Saturday morning.
So, a few events coming up this week, starting with an author panel with fellow authors Mike Martin and Dave Butler at the North Grenville Public Library on Monday afternoon. The event will be broadcast live on the NGPL Facebook page, so tune in if you have time.
Wednesday morning, I’ll be speaking to the Twisted Sisters bookclub about my writing and the road to publication through the marvel of Zoom. It will be great when we can hold events in person, but Zoom has opened doors. The great thing is that people can tune in from all over the world.
A few invitations this week through my website that I’ve accepted – the first to be a judge in a youth short story contest run by a local community association, and the second to teach a short story workshop to a seniors’ group in the new year.
I’ve had a good writing week, hitting 4,000 words. I’m charging ahead, knowing that I’ll have lots of editing and rewriting to do, but I’ll have the shape of the story down on paper. This manuscript has taken a few turns that I didn’t see coming – lots of suspense and a twisty kind of mystery puzzle.
I’ve now got the new cover for Blind Date and will be having the reveal soon, hopefully later this week. Got to say though, I’m loving this one 🙂 The audiobook is also in production and my narrator should have chapter one for me to listen to later this week. So much excitement.
Finally, this was my Monday to blog on 7 Criminal Minds blogspot and here is the link. The question concerned food and drink – not really a deep topic, but never hurts to have a bit of lightness. We’ll be giving our book recommendations in December, so be sure to check in for those.
Hard to believe we’re through November already, and getting ready for the holidays. We’re still awaiting the first big snowfall although the mornings are frosty and there have been flakes. Time to batten down the hatches and snuggle in.
