11 Mar Getting Ready to Launch
Another week has slipped past. We’re getting into spring weather and that’s most welcome. More sunshine and the clocks springing forward tomorrow – I can almost imagine sitting outside with morning coffee.
This week, Heather Williams finished recording the When Last Seen audiobook, so it will be available April 1st along with the ebook and paperback. We’ve only to pick a sample section for the booksellers to feature and that will be a wrap! Once again, Heather was terrific to collaborate with and so talented at giving voice to my characters.
So, Ted and I made the trip to Irene’s Pub on Tuesday afternoon to check out the space and to meet with Aislinn, the event manager. It’s a large space with a stage for the band and lots of seating although space to mingle. I ordered some snack food and we figured out where Perfect Books will set up as well as the spot for me to sign books. The invitation is below – all are welcome!
For those Ottawa people who can’t make the launch, I’m booked in at Coles in the Carlingwood mall on Friday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. As new events are scheduled, I’ll post them on the main page of my website.
I’m so looking forward to seeing people again – one of the best things about a new book coming out 🙂
