04 May Fatal Harvest Launch & Summer Break
Happy Saturday!
May 1st turned out to be a lovely day for a book launch at Perfect Books. My longtime friend Susan Rothery introduced me as I gave a short reading from Fatal Harvest. Then it was time to drink wine, snack and mingle … and buy books and get them signed. Thank you to Jim Sherman, owner of Perfect Books and to Gilda who helped host. I also owe a debt of gratitude to my friend Fred Taylor who took the following photos. It was a fun evening and ‘perfect’ way to kick off this new book.
So, I am taking part in two events this upcoming week. Thursday evening, May 9, John Delacourt and I will be reading and talking books at Octopus Books at 116 Third Avenue in the Glebe. This is part of the Authors Unbound series. The doors open at 6:30 with the event running from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 11, I’ll be signing books at Books on Beechwood from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A new signing has been added to my list on Saturday, July 13 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Chapters Gloucester.
This morning, I’ll be signing off this blog for the summer, returning in September unless something special crops up. I hope to see you over the spring and summer at one of my events – be sure to check the main page of my website for updated appearance. You can find updates all summer long though on my social media sites. I’m BrendaChapmanAuthor on Instagram, Threads and Facebook and brendaAchapman on Twitter.
Have a great summer, everyone!
