CBC Radio Thunder Bay – The Great Northwest, May 27, 2007

“Fans of the young wizard from Hogwarts are eagerly waiting the next installment of that series this summer. For fans of mystery novels looking for a quick fix, they can dig into a story where the heroine is figuring things out a little closer to home. The third book in the kids’ mystery series involving fifteen-year-old sleuth Jennifer Bannon is out. Where Trouble Leads follows Running Scared and Hiding in Hawk’s Creek. The latter book was short listed for the 2006 Canadian Library Association Book of the Year for Children award. Brenda Chapman is the author of the series. She grew up in Terrace Bay but now lives in Ottawa.”

Brenda was interviewed by Lisa Laco on CBC Radio Thunder Bay’s  The Great Northwest. Brenda discusses her latest book Where Trouble Leads and the writing process.

"Deeply atmospheric and tightly plotted, Cold Mourning is Chapman’s sharpest mystery yet.” ― C.B. Forrest, author of the Charlie McKelvey mysteries
